A woman with long brown hair crouches outside on autumn leaves, gently petting a black dog lying on the ground. The vet smiles as the dog looks up at her. There is light snow on the grass and trees in the background. A wooden boardwalk curves through an open grassy park with scattered leafless trees under a cloudy sky. The calm, expansive landscape is perfect for a vet to enjoy a peaceful stroll after caring for animals, with buildings visible in the distant background. A woman, who is a veterinarian, walks a black dog along a leaf-covered path through a forest with bare trees and patches of snow on the ground. A solid blue rectangle fills the entire image, much like the calming colors often found in a veterinarian's office—there are no visible patterns, objects, or variations in color. A veterinarian gently holds a gray cat with green eyes on a green towel, possibly at a clinic. The cat looks alert and slightly anxious. A veterinarian in black scrubs, wearing a blue patterned face mask, holds a small, fluffy brown puppy. The background is plain with a greyish tone on the left side. An older golden retriever lies next to a golden retriever puppy on a porch, both resting with relaxed expressions—fresh from their latest vet visit and enjoying some peaceful time together. The puppy lays its head on its paws, close to the adult dog.

Because there’s no place like home
Home is a place of comfort and security.
It grounds us, centers us, and gives us peace.
And for your pet, home is their entire world.

Saying goodbye to your pet in a space that is familiar, beloved, and private is one of the most beautiful and peaceful ways to honor their life. In-home euthanasia prioritizes your pet’s physical and emotional comfort, ensuring an atmosphere of dignity and grace, and compassionate support for those who love them.
A woman with shoulder-length hair, possibly a veterinarian, walks a black dog on a leash along a leaf-covered path in a wooded area. The scene is in black and white, with both seen from behind. A veterinarian with shoulder-length hair, wearing a green jacket and brown boots, walks a black dog on a leash along a leaf-strewn path in a park on a chilly day. A solid blue rectangle fills the entire image, much like the calming colors often found in a veterinarian's office—there are no visible patterns, objects, or variations in color. Empathy and understanding  The time surrounding your pet’s passing is sacred. We strive to ensure a completely personalized, unhurried experience that reflects your special pet and your extraordinary bond. Whether this means gathering in the shade of a backyard tree, making a pawprint keepsake, or sharing a favorite snack, your pet will feel nothing but your immense love and gratitude for them. And if home truly is where the heart is, that’s exactly how it should be. Surrounded by love The loss of a pet triggers deep and difficult emotions, but walking through the process with a compassionate veterinarian who knows the intense grief of a pet’s passing—because she’s a pet owner, too—provides comfort and reassurance. This shared understanding eases any confusion or guilt you may be feeling, freeing you to focus on your cherished pet—and the beautiful life you’ve shared—during this precious time. A black cat with green eyes lies on a person's lap, looking directly at the camera as the person, possibly a vet, gently pets it. The softly blurred background adds to the calm atmosphere. A veterinarian sits on the floor in a sunlit room, smiling and petting a happy black dog. A large green potted plant and a window with sunlight streaming through are in the background. Compassionate Closure "Stacey M.Thank you Dr. Gilbert for the compassionate and caring service you offered us this weekend.  Your medical knowledge and advice helped make our painful decision to euthanize our Marty more informed and comfortable. We appreciated the time you spent with us. It was comforting being in our own home and not having to stress Marty out with a car ride. His last moments were peaceful and full of dignity. Thank you for being available at such short notice. You’re a special person to do this work."

First and foremost, I want to thank you sincerely for helping us lay our precious angel (Ammo) down to rest. I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason, and I believe that God had arranged for Dr. Gilbert to be the one to help us in this time of sorrow and grief. The kindness that she had shown to us will forever be in our hearts, as my daughter and I did one of the hardest things that we ever had to do. She made the process so special and gave us time to say good bye in private. Ammo was calm and in the comfort of the place where she slept every night. Dr. Gilbert shared memories and tears with us, and even left us with a few specials gifts (clay paw print and some of our baby’s fur). She gave us comfort and strength when we needed it the most. I would recommend Dr. Gilbert always and 100% of the time. We cannot thank you enough Dr. Gilbert!

Love,

The start of 2025 was the most traumatic year for our family. Within three months we lost Winston and then Zoey, with a major surgery for our third dog, Star, in between. (Thankfully she is still with us!) Anyone who knows us knows that our dogs are our babies. Both got very sick very quickly and we wanted nothing more than to avoid the stress of the vets office. Dr. Gilbert accommodated us without the blink of an eye and made such tragic times in our lives so much easier than they could have been. We miss our babies every day, but to know they passed at home where they loved to be in such peace gave us such a sense of relief. Dr. Gilbert truly went above and beyond for us and we will forever be grateful!!

Having to help my dog, Max, over the rainbow bridge was one of the hardest choices I have ever had to make. I was putting it off hoping he would cross on his own but I knew it had to be done. Then I was trying to get the strength all day to make that phone call for an appointment without bawling my eyes out. I made the call and I cried the whole time. They were so caring and understanding and helped me through the booking process.

On the day of, Dr Gilbert was so sweet, respectful, soft spoken and gentle. She walked me through what to expect and took her time. I could not be any happier with the way the visit went. I still have 2 senior dogs and if I have to make this decision again, I will without a doubt call Peaceful Bridge for Dr Gilbert.

I thank you and I appreciate you wholeheartedly.

Silhouette of a cat and a dog standing side by side, both facing away from the viewer. Ideal for a veterinarian clinic logo, with the cat on the left and the dog on the right. A simple black silhouette of a half sun rising or setting, with straight rays extending outward in various directions—perfect for a veterinarian or vet logo seeking a warm and welcoming touch.
